-
1 Tbsp. Rosebud’s I ❤ Garlic
-
Rosebud’s Campfire Rub, to taste
-
1 Tbsp. olive oil/butter
- 1 c. apple juice
-
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 tart apples, cored and sliced
-
1 c. raisins
-
1 c. whipping cream or half and half (or substitute)
- 1/3 c. green onion, sliced
Directions
Cut pork into 1/4 - inch slices; sprinkle each slice with Rosebud’s I ❤Garlic and Campfire Rub.
In a large skillet on medium heat, brown pork slices in oil or butter, a few slices at a time. Return pork and any juices to the skillet.
Combine apple juice and flour in a small dish, then pour into skillet. Add apple slices and raisins. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
Cover the skillet and reduce heat. Simmer for 10 minutes or until pork is tender.
Remove pork, apples and raisins to a lidded-dish to keep warm.
Bring pan juices to a boil; blend in cream or half and half. Cook until slightly thickened. Place pork, apples and raisins back to the skillet and slightly toss into the cream mixture.
Garnish with green onions.
