Ingredients
-
2 sticks of unsalted butter
-
1 c. organic cane sugar
-
1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
-
1 egg
-
2 tsp. baking powder
-
½ tsp. Baja Gold Sea Salt
-
3 c. Ella Bella All-Purpose Flour
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, combine baking powder, salt, and flour and set aside
In the bowl of your mixer, cream butter and sugar until smooth (about 3 minutes).
Add in your vanilla extract and egg and mix until combined.
Add your dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in your mixer bowl a little at a time until combined.
Divide the dough into 2-3 sections and roll out onto a floured surface with a ¼ inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes. (Makes about 30 cookies when cut into 3-inch circles.)
Bake for 6-8 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack. Decorate and enjoy!
Recipe Note
The number of cookies depends on the shape and size of your cookie cutters. If using a 3-inch circle cutter, you'll get about 30 cookies.
