So, gather your ingredients, mix up these festive creations, and toast to the joy and magic of the holiday season with Rosebud’s festive drink ideas!
(Each recipe is one serving size, unless stated)
Kahlua Hot Chocolate
- 1 c. warm milk
- 2 Tbsp. Rosebud’s Hot Chocolate
- 1 oz. Kahlua coffee liqueur
- marshmallows/whipped cream, optional
- Warm the milk on the stovetop in a medium saucepan. Add the hot chocolate beverage mix and whisk. Add in the Kahlua and combine.
- Pour into a mug and top with marshmallows or whipped cream, if desired.
Dogwood Cherry Old Fashioned
- 2 oz. bourbon whiskey
- 1 tsp. pure maple syrup
- 1-2 dashes bitters
- 1 Tbsp. Rosebud's Cornelian Dogwood Cherry & Pear Honey Sweetened Fruit Butter
- orange peel, optional garnish
- Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful ice and shake until cold.
- Strain the drink into a glass, on the rocks or neat. Garnish with an orange peel, if desired.
Mulled Wine (or Apple Cider)
Servings: 4
- 750ml. bottle of wine OR 4 c. apple cider
- 1 packet Rosebud’s Mulling Spices
- In a medium saucepan, add the contents of the packet and one 750ml bottle of wine OR four cups of apple cider.
- Simmer on low heat for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 10-15 minutes. Strain and enjoy!
Salted Caramel Apple Cider
- 6 oz. apple cider
- 1.5 oz. salted caramel whiskey
- Rosebud’s Fall Harvest Drink Rim
- apple slices/cinnamon stick, for garnish
- Rim the glass with maple syrup and then Rosebud’s Fall Harvest Drink Rim.
- Place the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful ice and shake until chilled.
- Pour into the prepared glass and garnish with apple slices or a cinnamon stick, if desired.
Chai Espresso Martini
- 1-2 Tbsp. Chai Honey Syrup
- 1 ½ oz. choice of vodka
- 1 ½ oz. Kahlua
- 1 oz. espresso
- 1 oz. canned coconut milk (or cream or half and half)
- If desired, rim your glass with cane sugar.
- Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful ice and shake vigorously for 1 minute (this makes a good foam for the top).
- Strain into the prepared glass. Sprinkle Rosebud’s Chai Spice blend ontop, if desired.
Christmas Margaritas
- ½ - 1 oz. ginger syrup
- 2 oz. gold tequila
- ½ oz. orange liqueur
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 oz. pomegranate juice (or cranberry)
- ½ - 1 oz. simple syrup (or honey or agave)
- Rosebud’s Chili Lime Smoked Salt
- Rim your glass with the Chili Lime Smoked Salt.
- Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful ice and shake until cold.
- Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, mandarin wedge, or pomegranate aerials, if desired.
Elderberry Cocktail
- 1 oz. elderberry syrup (from Rosebud's Elderberry Syrup Kit)
- 1 oz. ginger simple syrup (or plain simple syrup, honey or agave)
- 2 oz. vodka
- soda water
- cinnamon or orange, for garnish
- Combine elderberry syrup, lemon juice, ginger simple syrup, and vodka in a cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously until combined. Pour in a glass over ice.
- Top with soda water and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and an orange slice.
